Acumium released mobile enhancements to Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ (LEYE) gift card portal in late October. This mobile update was completed in support of LEYE’s growing mobile traffic and to coincide with their annual holiday campaign, which began November 1 and continues through December 30.Throughout 2015 LEYE’s mobile website traffic has more than doubled, making it important to put their best foot forward – in this case, a mobile-optimized user experience – before the holidays.
LEYE specializes in creating high quality, successful restaurants. Founded in 1971, LEYE has seen nothing but success and now owns, licenses or manages more than 100 establishments in Illinois, California, Arizona, Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, Minnesota and Nevada. LEYE is committed to giving their customers the best dining experience possible.
Acumium first partnered with LEYE in June 2014 to develop a gift card portal on the responsive ecommerce platform, GravityMarket™. This website was created to enhance LEYE’s customers’ online experience. The ecommerce portal’s initial release included responsive design, which allows the website content to adapt or respond to the website’s visitor’s device. In this follow up release Acumium enhanced the mobile experience in order to best support LEYE’s overall holiday campaign.
“A better mobile experience means an improved conversion rate for LEYE during the 2015 holiday season,” says Jody Hartwig, Acumium’s Sr. Ecommerce Account Director. “When so much of LEYE’s marketing efforts are geared around their annual holiday promotion, a lift in mobile conversion can have a significant impact on their overall business.”
Jennifer Bell, Associate Partner and Executive Director of Marketing at LEYE adds, “Historically, we see our highest amounts of website traffic and gift card sales during the holiday season. We were excited to get this mobile update live before that crucial time, and are confident Acumium’s optimization will provide our customers with a great online shopping experience.”
