In August, Acumium nominated its client Innocorp for Madison’s Most Innovative Company Award (MIC). In November, the Verona-based creators of Fatal Vision® drunk driving prevention goggles beat out seven other finalists and took home the award.
neXXpo 2017: Most Innovative Company Award
The Madison’s Most Innovative Company award is part of neXXpo, a competition held during the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce’s Forward Fest. To receive this award, votes are cast for the most creative, cutting-edge businesses. Finalists are then selected from an impressive lineup of Wisconsin entrepreneurs including Underground Meats, Acme Nerd Games, Bendyworks and MobCraft Beer.
“We are incredibly excited and yet humbled, knowing the level of talent and innovation of the companies that were competing alongside us,” says President and CEO of Innocorp, Michael Aguilar. “We are motivated by what we saw to continue elevating our game and pushing our limits of innovation.”
Innocorp: A Clear Vision for Fatal Vision
Innocorp is the recognized leader in the development of impaired driving awareness and prevention products. President and CEO, Michael Aguilar, experienced first-hand the impact of dealing with an impaired driver. Soon after, they developed the concept of goggles that simulated impairment from alcohol to educate the public on the dangers of drunken driving.
From an initial product built on a dining room table, Innocorp has experienced strong growth. Their tools are now used by safety professionals and educators in more than 90 countries. Innocorp’s product line also includes alcohol prevention, distracted driving tools and online training packages.
Innocorp and Acumium
Innocorp recently partnered with Acumium to build a new, secure e-commerce website to drive business growth. “Acumium has always worked with growing brands that hold innovation as a core value,” says Dan Costello, CEO and Founder of Acumium. “We’re proud of the partnership we’ve built with Innocorp and applaud this distinguished win.”
